The Fe-based superconductors (FeBSC) are generally considered to be the most important discovery in superconductivity since the cuprates.
The goal of the European Workshop on Electronic Structure of Fe-Based
Superconductors was to bring together most European groups engaged
in the band theory of FeBSC,
as well as selected experts from the US and Asia,
to work out the current status of what exactly modern band theory says about
FeBSC, which results are the most accurate, and what pitfalls junior (or even no
t so junior) theorists may encounter.
The workshop took place in the
Max-Planck Institute for Solid State Physics in Stuttgart, Germany,
on 10th-12th May 2010.
The final program of the workshop is available here. Presentations in pdf/ppt format can be downloaded here .
