Multipolar Diskmodes
Plasmonic nanodisks of suitable diameters show characteristic multipolar eigenmodes that are intuitive to understand. Here we demonstrate, side-by-side in one image, dipolar and quadrupolar modes, which we recorded using our cross-polarized aSNOM approach. (Nano Lett. (2008) 8, 3155-3159.)
