Slot Antennas
Nearfield optical images of localized and propagating plasmonic modes around slots in a 100 nm thick gold film, which we recorded using our cross-polarized aSNOM approach. (See also phys. stat. sol. (b), 245, p. 2255-2260 (2008).) In the lower part of the images, a temporary loss of excitation laser power occurred.
