Bachelor- and Master theses, PhD and postdoctoral research may be carried out within the diverse framework of research topics covered by the group, ranging from organic synthesis of ligands for porous frameworks to nanoparticle and sol-gel chemistry as well as research into photonic materials. Different funding agencies may provide funding for a PhD or postdoctoral position, such as the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, DAAD, or the EU (Marie-Curie fellowship).
