Cu-intercalated superconductor of PdTe₂ with CdI₂-type structure

The Cu-doped compound of PdTe₂ with CdI₂-type is found with superconducting transition temperature between 1.5 and 2.6K. Our results suggest that Cu_xPdTe₂ is a new intercalation-based layered superconductor.
