Biography

Amrit recieved his bachelor degree in Applied Physics from Kathmandu University, Nepal in 2013. For his master studies he moved to the University of Stuttgart and joined the Ultrafast Solid State Spectroscopy Research Group at the Max Planck Institute for Solid State Research for his master thesis.

Project

Amrit uses time-resolved near-field optical methods to probe the dynamics of phase transitions in excitonic insulators.
