Emily Kay Huang
Master Student

Biography
Emily studied Physics at National Tsing Hua University, Taiwan obtaining her B.Sc. For her M.Sc. studies she worked on "Generation of Single Photon Pairs with Heated Rubidium Atoms". Now she joined the international M.Sc. program at Stuttgart University as exchange student and started working at the Max Planck Institute for Solid State Research to broaden her knowledge in particular in the area of complex quantum materials.
Project
Within the Ultrafast Solid State Spectroscopy group Emily sets up double pulse excitation schemes to control light driven phase transitions in various correlated and complex materials. That allows her to trace the order parameter dynamics on various energy and ultrafast time scales.
