Two best poster prizes for StEM at Microscopy Conference (MC2025) in Karlsruhe

At this year’s Microscopy Conference 2025 in Karlsruhe, Germany, StEM achieved double success with two contributions receiving Best Poster Awards.

  • Yuhan Wang was honored for her poster “Atomic-scale investigation of symmetry-forbidden LaAlO3(001)/La0.67Sr0.33MnO3 (111) interfaces”, a work carried out in close collaboration with Dept.  Mannhart.
  • Hongguang Wang received the award for his poster “AI-Driven recognition of atomic structures in transition-metal dichalcogenides”, which is based on a strong collaboration with Dept. Takagi.

Many congratulations to both awardees for this excellent recognition of their contributions!
 

The MC 2025 Karlsruhe conference honors Yuhan Wang and Hongguang Wang with Best Poster Awards in Materials Science for innovative contributions in atomic-scale investigations and AI-driven atomic structure recognition.
