The Max Planck Institute for Solid State Research cordially invites you to a colloquium in honor of Hans-Joachim Queisser on January 9 at 10 am.
Hans-Joachim Queisser, who passed away on June 27, 2025, at the age of 93, was one of the founding directors of our institute and shaped it profoundly for nearly three decades. His scientific excellence, vision, and dedication laid the foundation for the institute’s continued success.
The colloquium will honor his remarkable life’s work and lasting impact on solid-state research.
