Single-electron devices as local electrometer and primary thermometer for investigation of quantum materials
Research report (imported) 2025 - Max Planck Institute for Solid State Research
Summary
Metallic single-electron devices can be used as highly sensitive local electrometers and primary thermometers. They operate at low temperatures and show no dependence on applied high magnetic fields. This makes them ideal sensors for studying the electronic and thermodynamic properties of quantum materials.
