Quantum meets school
On Monday the 26th June, the team spent an exciting day with the 9th and 10th grades at Karls- Gymnasium in Stuttgart, as part of the International Year of Quantum. The day began with presentations from four PhD students, who shared their paths to studying physics and chemistry. Afterwards, the students had the opportunity to participate in three engaging modules: They learned the basics of quantum mechanics, saw superconductors levitating on magnetic tracks, and gained insights into the world of quantum computing.
The around 90 students were very curious and followed the activities with great attention. There were many interesting questions and lively discussions. The team is pleased that the day was so enjoyable and would like to thank the teachers at Karlsgymnasium for their support. Next week, the journey continues at the International School Stuttgart.
