Liquid nitrogen

  • for safety reasons, liquid nitrogen vessels are exclusively filled and provided by members of the TT-Service
  • it is not required to order in advance - vessels are made available
  • having taken liquid nitrogen and/or liquid argon from filled vessels, the respective person is supposed to register in room 2H7 on a pc


Liquid nitrogen vessel pool
All liquid nitrogen vessels are placed in a vessel pool and are exclusively handled by the TT-Service. Prior to using liquid nitrogen and/or liquid nitrogen vessels, all members of the Institute are obliged to attend a safety instruction in the TT-Service department.

Liquid argon
It is not possible to fill liquid argon in small portions via prior agreement.
