Second Workshop on New Perspectives in Solid-State and Materials Research

April 7 - 9, 2026

Following up on a successful event in 2025, the workshop will bring together physicists, chemists, and materials scientists from Palestinian and European universities to explore, strengthen, and extend collaboration in fundamental and applications-oriented solid-state and materials research. Of particular interest will be the synthesis of thin-film structures for electronic and magnetic devices and for energy harvesting and storage. Recent progress in experimental methods (including especially synchrotron-based techniques) as well as theory and simulation will also be highlighted. In addition to senior scientists, the program will also include presentations by selected postdocs and graduate students.
