New member of the Henry Royce Institute’s Strategic Advisory Board

Prof. Dr. Peter A. van Aken was elected as a new member of the Henry Royce Institute’s strategic advisory board, UK starting from July 1st 2025.
The Henry Royce Institute is the UK’s national institute for advanced materials research and innovation. Research conducted here tackles some of the most pressing challenges facing today’s society, from providing energy for future cities to decarbonisation and new recyclable materials. Henry Royce Institute coordinates over 700 academic, technical, and research staff across the UK, providing a joined-up framework that can deliver beyond the current capabilities of individual Partners or research teams. The strategic and operational delivery of Royce is overseen by a Governing Board (GB) and Strategic Advisory Board (SAB).

Additionally, since November 2024 is Prof. van Aken also a chair of the SuperSTEM advisory board
