Welcome to the registration survey for the Max Planck Science Policy Winter School taking place from Jan 25 - Jan 30 2026 at the Harnack Haus in Berlin.

The application form consists of two sections. The first one collects personal information as well as a CV and the second consists of three open form questions which can be found below. We suggest you complete your answers in a seperate Word document prior to submission.

Application questions:
Question 1: What personal motivation drives your interest in science policy? (max. 300 words)
Question 2: In your opinion, what are the roles of scientific institutions like the Max Planck Society in evidence based decision making? (max. 300 words)
Question 3: What are your expectations for the week? (max. 300 words)
Applications will be treated in an anonymous manner.

Please note that upon successful application and acceptance to the MPSPWS, the participant is required to pay the fee (150€) within two weeks of acceptance or their spot will be forfeited to the next person on the waiting list.
