Introduction

Porous materials can orchestrate charge and mass transport and amplify the role of interfaces at which energy, charge and material conversions occur through their large surface areas. Important energy conversion processes in porous materials include photocatalysis and photoelectrochemistry, electrocatalysis, battery electrode materials, and other energy technologies.

At this conference top international researchers in the field of mesoporous oxides and carbon as well as molecular framework materials such as covalent organic frameworks (COFs) and metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) join leading researchers investigating energy conversion and storage processes, including theoretical and mechanistic aspects of this exciting scientific frontier. The Gordon-style conference with ample room for scientific exchange and discussion will be held at The House of the Bavarian Agriculture in Herrsching.

We invite you to join us and to present your exciting research in several dynamic poster sessions!
